Privacy policy

At Quadro Matanzas we take care of your personal data. Here we explain what data we use, why, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights, under Chilean Law 19,628 and Law 21,719 on personal data protection.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Asesorías Inversiones e Inmobiliaria RNR Limitada (Chilean tax ID 76.300.038-9), which operates the Quadro Matanzas cabins, Camino Matanzas a Pupuya, Matanzas, Navidad, O'Higgins Region, Chile. 2. What data we use

  • When you contact us (form, WhatsApp, email or social media): name, email, phone, dates, number of guests and whatever you tell us in your message.
  • When you stay with us: the data above, plus what we need to issue your invoice or receipt (for example, your tax ID) and the record of your payments. We do not store card numbers.
  • If you book through Booking.com or Airbnb: the data that platform shares with us for your stay.
  • When you browse the site: technical and usage data (pages visited, device, where the visit came from), through Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies.

3. Why we use it

  • To answer your questions and manage your booking and stay. Basis: performing the accommodation contract or the steps you ask us to take before it.
  • To issue tax documents and meet legal obligations. Basis: legal obligation.
  • To send you special dates and news from Quadro, 3 or 4 times a year. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying NO or writing to us.
  • To measure how the site is used and how our ads perform, so we can improve them. Basis: your consent, given in the cookie notice.

We do not sell your data or use it for automated decision-making.

4. Who we share it with

Only with providers that help us operate and process the data on our behalf: Google (email, spreadsheets, Analytics, Ads, Maps), Web3Forms (sending the site form), Cloudflare (site hosting) and Meta (WhatsApp). Also with Chile's tax authority (SII) when the law requires it, and with Booking.com or Airbnb if you booked through them.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Chile, mainly in the United States. We choose providers that offer data protection safeguards in their terms of service.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not turn into a booking: up to 2 years.
  • Guest and invoicing data: as long as tax law requires (6 years).
  • Data for sending you news: until you withdraw your consent.

6. Your rights

At any time you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, receive it in a format you can take to another provider (portability) or temporarily block it. You can also withdraw your consent to receive news.

Write to quadromtz@gmail.com with your name and what you need. We reply within 30 calendar days. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with Chile's Personal Data Protection Agency (Agencia de Protección de Datos Personales).

7. Cookies

The site uses Google Analytics cookies, to know how many people visit and how, and Google Ads cookies, to measure our ads. They are only switched on if you accept them in the notice shown when you arrive; if you decline, Google only receives cookieless statistical data. You can change your choice at any time under «Cookies» at the bottom of every page, or delete them in your browser settings. The site works the same without them.

8. Security

We keep your data in protected accounts, accessible only to the team members who need it to look after you. If an incident put your data at risk, we would tell you and report it to the authority as the law requires.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with its last-updated date.
